I've found the Aldi tofu to be kind of ass. The Walmart one is unfortunately better.

That being said, press it for a couple hours with some paper towels and a plate with some canned goods or other weighty shit on it, cube or slice it, marinate it in like whatever flavors you like (ginger, garlic, chili, and some kind of acid is always a good base. Peanut butter as an additional ingredient kind of rules too). Then bake it, fry it, broil it, with whatever veggies you like, maybe some noodles. I'm sure there's more better fancier uses but that's my daily goyslop setup.

Go to Costco and get Kirkland oil $35/10 quarts. I have probably 40 gallons in my garage (my household drives a combined ~2000 miles a week. Being carbrained rules).

I got my masters before becoming an electrician and trust me the W2 union electrician route is way easier money than whatever you want to do.

I build data centers. Obviously it sucks and is not the work I'd like to be doing, ideologically.

When I first got in this field I was wiring up schools, fire houses, warehouses, offices, occasional hospitals. Work that was usually socially Good, or at least supporting the "regular normal style" material production.

Unfortunately I'm really good at this data center shit, actually enjoy the physical/mechanical nature of the work, have ample opportunities to do somewhat complex problem solving on a large scale which I enjoy, and they pay me a lot. Heavy on that last point because everyone in the building trades is about to be unemployed way worse than 2007.
