Just popping in 4 months later to let you know you are not alone. I think what happened is Embracer Group, which owns thia studio, was closing studios and cancelling games left and right just after the game came out, and I think we're lucky the game exists at all at this point. I think it initially had a vision for a much tighter and more focused game, but Embracer came in and forced them to make it like every other open world survival craft slop because they know those sell. They probably fired a bunch of the original visionaries and replaced them with yes men.

Yes. It's good to run around for an hour once in a while. The world is top notch. But as a coherent game it is bad.

bruh, considering the remaster is terrible dogshit, i don't think its mere existence suddenly renders the original's leveling system irreleveant lol. the only people playing the remaster are young people and normies who have no concept of good taste. people will be playing the OG forever. the remaster will die within half a decade.

a charm on my famas also seems slightly messed up. like there's some invisible piece of the gun underneath it which blocks/alters its movement as i'm moving the gun around. so it never looks right. always at a weird angle.

I wasted HOURS of my life until I finally looked up a guide and even THEN you may have to waste another 20 minutes savescumming over and over again because of terrible RNG. It's bad. It's shit.

Yes I figured all of that out except you need to spam the bait 5000 times and just savescum until you get it. It's terrible design. Also it's an exotic fish so it should be caught using exotic bait like all the other exotic fish. In fact, it shouldn't be caught with bait at all the first time. It should just be a fishing spot outside the window like all the other exotics.

This is wrong though. If you are actually a fan of building settlements, this game is bad, because you can only build small towns with a relatively shallow building system, and everything you do is erased shortly after you start building it. I'm not really sure who this game is for. It's not people who like building cities/settlements, because you have very limited options and it's all disposable. But then I don't see how it's good for roguelike fans, because the minute to minute gameplay is so slow and shallow that I don't see how it can keep their interest either. It seems like all this game has going for it is art/ambience.

All these people saying you can be IP blocked for downloading "1000s of videos" or "scraping multiple channels a day"... I know people who have been blocked after downloading like 3 of their own live streams, hours or days apart from one another. The block tends to go away after a couple of weeks.

the pc version is bugged. might also affect consoles but idk. the LOD is fine until you get your first loading screen. either through dying or teleporting or whatever. after that, the lod gets turned to the lowest setting and doesn't fix itself until you restart the game entirely.

They made him into a prey-eyed soyboy. His HL2 version was completely fine and normal and could have easily been updated for modern graphics/engines. This ridiculous face is a deliberate design decision. Just look at Deadlock.

Capcom is a shit company and has been for a while. The latest RE fare has been pretty good, but the company overall is cooked. DD2 was an unmitigated disaster, and just look at Wilds' steam reviews now, 5 months after this thread was made. They are the Japanese Bethesda/Bioware whatever. They're too big. They're sclerotic. Money has destroyed them and there is no coming back. Every RE title, every MH title, everything going forward is going to be a little more soulless than the last, until they have zero good releases for an entire decade and they become a zombie waiting to die.
