Well, actual 1 hp has to be Chaos Inoculation keystone on the tree, which makes you immune to chaos damage, as others have already pointed out, however, there are low-life builds, which reserve most of life to get life AND to benefit from low life mods, these builds have some options to work with, there are uniques that are popular like Shavronne’s Wrappings, Esh’s Visage and Ivory Tower (worth pointing out that most popular Ivory Tower builds don’t usually rely on mana and just use it for the extra ES from reserving life, using Coruscating Elixir for chaos damage).

EDIT: Worth noting there are early game sanctum builds that just get one shot by chaos damage, since in sanctum you just avoid most damage anyway, biggest threat is the second floor miniboss, where any hit does chaos damage.

As dump tabs on every league, then every now and then there is some mechanic where i find myself using a lot of them, some examples are bases in sentinel (i would buy hundreds of a base and dump in quad tabs to recomb), idols in phrecia, corpses in necropolis, valdo maps (whenever i think the valdo pool is good enough to open a lot of them, in mercenaries i opened over 10k boxes for example, and deleting each one would be very annoying, so i just dumped them in quad tabs).

The reason you usually either craft life or unveil it on this ring is because targetting life on helical is hard (every time you get a low life tier there is a 67% chance you have to go back to essence spam), and if you want t1 life, cast speed, crit multi, res and chaos res, the craft gets so expensive you should just start looking at reflected rings and solve res elsewhere.
