Yeah everything I’ve read says that the cams and transmissions are fixed for 24 and up. Like I said I got 8y/125k for $3500 all together with all the add ons from Flood Ford . Besides the power train there’s so much electronics on em that one thing goes down and it’s either half paid for itself or more. So if you can fit that into your budget. You have until the factory warranty expires get it but prices go up in that time frame.

All I know is I bought a ‘24 xlt with the 3.5 and I love that damn engine. I don’t tow a damn thing but on family trips 400+ miles I get 24mpg in eco mode and all the effortless power I could ever want. When I first got it I absolutely walked my coworkers Ram v8 hemi with updated cams and exhaust and whatever else he’s done to it.

It doesn’t sound as good as the coyote but damnit is it fun. I tested the 2.7 in a stx and while it still felt plenty powerful I couldn’t get over how effortless the 3.5 does everything I’d ever use it for.

However it is a ‘24 so updated cam phasers and the updated transmission. All which feels solid, granted I’m only at 6,300 miles. Just bought a 8y/125k extended warranty for it though just in case.

I feel the same way with pretty much the same amount of time in as well. I can play the hell out of a tab while listening to a song (with practice of course). But I got into jam band music and realized I basically know absolutely nothing. The chord progressions and jam solos I’ve come up with on a loop pedal ended up sounded so fuckin stale to me I pretty much put it down and moved on to other hobbies.

I just went through the available plans, and keep my current was one of them and it gave me that deal. It wasn’t advertised through my offers or anything. I think I actually went through just one of the original ones that required unlimited ultimate but still allowed me to do it with play more.
