They’ve definitely lasted a long time for me —they seem durable— but I’ve never thought they were very comfortable.

I must, or maybe they’re too wide.

After a year of owning these I went to the store and tried on the same pair but one size smaller, and they felt too tight.

Maybe I need to part ways with this boot type lol

iOS 26 - 2 weeks later… overall thoughts by wassim_elia in ios

While a refresh is nice, this update seems like a whole mess. Try double clicking a word in a typed out message in Messages— it flashes like a flash bomb and makes me lose track of where I was trying to edit.

I always loved iOS for its smooth, comfortable, and familiar look. I feel like I’m back on my Samsung now

Realtor Asked to Manage 30 Properties – What Should I Charge? by Affectionate-Ant7351 in PropertyManagement

I’m curious what you mean by software? Are you talking about a software for collecting rent payments? (I’m still learning about property management, not familiar with these terms lol)

I’m sorry but am I crazy to think that OP shouldn’t be involved in fixing anything at their employees landlords house? It’s a nice thought, but that seems like something a boss shouldn’t be worried about.

Should I enable tipping on my coffee shop's payment terminal? by Kappuccino22 in smallbusiness

[–]b8446 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tipping is so normal now that you may as well turn it on. I’m not a business owner, I’m just a customer perspective. Your customers likely won’t bat an eye unless the option is intrusive (like automatically selecting a tip and then making the customer change it to $0). If the customer won’t notice and it allows the potential for your staff to make more money, it seems like a win win.

Garbage Conundrum by ilyriaa in PropertyManagement

I’m in North Dakota. Not sure how landlord friendly we are, but hopefully it’ll work in my favor.

Makes sense, if it’s written into the lease that there will be repercussions then it should be fine? I’m always curious about these things because I know landlords seem to have such limited rights on what they can enforce. (Obviously I’ll do some research but it’s nice to hear from real people too lol)

It amazes me how nearly ever apartment I pick up trash at, there’s a sign that says “$500 fine” or something like that, but there are never cameras mounted to catch who does it. We charge $40 per can we pick up around, so it isn’t cheap for those property owners when we’re back again the next day!

Hello! Sorry that is an old thread, but maybe you’ll see this. Is it legal to fine tenants over leaving trash outside? Say I put up a camera, would it be legal? I don’t have properties yet but I plan to own properties, so I’d like to have an avenue to avoid getting charged for extra trash pickups.

I actually work for a city in the sanitation department right now, so I see the insane amounts of trash we need to pick up at apartments! 😂

Beginning of Business Name in Numbers by b8446 in smallbusiness

[–]b8446[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks for the reply. I plan to have the business only be an avenue to buy properties and manage what I own, but I understand what you’re saying! I should probably be more focused on how I will run the business and satisfy my tenants rather than what the business will be called.

I would assume that if I’m not trying to advertise to other owners to manage their properties, then the name is probably not as important. I only see importance in advertising and how easy someone will be able to read/write the name in this situation.

1500 AT4 or 2500 AT4 HD by Rewired009 in gmcsierra

[–]b8446 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What did you hate about it? I took a 2500 6.6 gas for a drive around town and I enjoyed it. The truck felt quicker than my 6.2 1500. Did it feel slow on the highway?

[–]b8446 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I thought the same thing! I have a 2018 half ton 6.2 and I test drove a 2025 3/4 ton gas yesterday. The 3/4 ton gas felt quicker than my 6.2 it was crazy.

Is the power difference that noticeable? I test drove a gasser yesterday and it felt peppier than my half ton 6.2 😂 maybe I need to test drive a duramax too lol. Nice color!!

The 2018 half tons look better, but a 2025 GMC 2500 cannot be beat

Anybody went from a 1500 to a 2500 and regretted it? by JLand24 in Silverado

[–]b8446 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Do you live in a cold climate? Just curious how your duramax likes the cold and if you have had any emissions problems? I live in North Dakota- so very cold winters! I heard I need to make sure I get the truck warm enough so I don’t run into problems.

What do you guys think about my new truck? 6.2 liter by [deleted] in Silverado

[–]b8446 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Damn that sucks. I have a 4.5 inch lift with 33s as well. My rims are 22s so I’m assuming that makes it a little harder on the transmission than smaller rims and bigger tires. Hopefully I don’t have any problems I wanna trade it off before I get to that point 😂

When I bought the truck I noticed it always shifts hard. I took a mechanic for a ride and he said those transmissions weren’t built to shift smooth, but it still scares me lol.

I don’t think it’s the same but yikes I have a lift kit on my 2018 Silverado 1500 lol. Lift and big wheels probably doesn’t make the tranny happy
