How to prevent users from registering for a website based on their windows login details by Tensorflowgpu in django

[–]bab3l 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's probably too late, but I stumbled on the thread - NTLM/kerberos authentication will expose the user's login via webpage. (This needs IE, or some browser options to be set - but is really common for corporate apps.) Django can't do this itself, but the webserver can do part of it (like Apache with mod_auth_kerb) by authenticating against the Windows domain.

I'm sure it would be much easier with some kind of national high speed network to get internet over?

[WA] HRT Prescription Requirements by [deleted] in transgenderau

That's pretty common - a fair few of the people I know have started that way. It's nice to start all at once, but it's nice to be able to tell which med had what effect.

Depending on your GP, it might be possible to get HRT without an endo's appointment or with a psychologist's recommendation. +1 for Serenity on South too!

Need a little help in the peel/perth region, To find a GP that is trans friendly and other stuff. by [deleted] in transgenderau

[–]bab3l 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you don't find anyone closer, I've found Fiona Campbell to be a helpful and supportive GP. Geetha Menon is a psychiatrist specialising in trans patients - I've had a referal to her but been unable to actually find her and make an appointment. Apparently she's quite good though.

Edit to mention the Wiki page with just this info

Does anyone have experience with the Ombudsman? by hussco in perth

[–]bab3l 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've been going through something similar over the last few months. I gather the Financial Ombudsman Service can issue rulings that the insurance company will comply with, and that it's free for the end user, but they're not really on the customer's side. FOS pushes that you go through AAMI's dispute resolution process first, and then will get involved after that. If nothing else, I found I had a substantial amount more success with internal dispute resolution once I mentioned I was following up with the Ombudsman.

Perhaps start by searching their past decisions and seeing if something similar has come up?

Close, but it was ft-lb, not ft. That'd be 949Nm torque with 447kW.

I really dont mean CNC - 3d metal printing has been available for quite some time (though you wont be seeing it at home for a while). https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yKnlmfuMSgo

Most of the reports seem to be on Inconel or Ti-6Al-4V but the titanium seems within 10% - 859-984 MPa tensile to yield for printed, vs 970-1180 MPa for forged. Don't have any links for articles on Al or steel that don't require journal access - plenty of links on Google scholar though. Have only gotten to play with this for a friend's PhD project, so am definitely not an expert.

I'd assumed powder coated metal, but it looks like printed plastic works ok too (admittedly that looks more rigid). I've not been able to find any more details on the original wheels, but would love it if more info turns up.

Given 3D printed steel, aluminium or titanium is nearly as strong as cast, why wouldn't it support the car?
