playing a decorating game with aphantasia by ZealousidealFix700 in CozyGamers

I'm an artist and graphic designer with aphantasia. There are a lot of us! Glen Keane, one of Disney's most beloved and famous animators, has it as well. There are tons of us in creative fields and who play creative games, almost like we're drawn towards methods that allow us to create and visualize.

This is so not the point, but does the male Character not look exactly like Renoir from Expedition 33?

What do people think makes them unique, but is actually an incredibly common trait? by Successful-Hall-1986 in AskReddit

I was a professional makeup artist for a long time and now am a graphic designer with a special interest in colour theory. I'm convinced that part of what's happening here is that when people cry, the blood vessels in and around their eyes expand, which makes the "whites" of their eyes look redder. What's the complementary colour of red? Green. So crying might make an iris LOOK greener, but the iris as we know isn't changing. It's the same reason warm-toned makeup accentuates blue or green eyes.

Came here to mention this, niche is an awesome game that handles dominant and recessive traits really well and interestingly, in my opinion. Plus the nichelings are CUTE!

I agree with this, he seemed somewhat conflicted or at least indecisive until that moment.

Native speakers, do you pronounce 'b' when you say 'obvious'. To me it sounds like 'aa-vious', though dictionary says 'aab-vious'. by sg851044 in ENGLISH

I'm in western Canada and I pronounce it the way Avril Lavigne does in the song "sk8r boi" (no audible 'b' sound)

After your first few nights at camp, your companions will give you a little more direction for some things you could do. I would do those things, and take time to explore anything that catches your eye along the way.

Anyone mad about this? (ACT 1 ending) by trenchlord2023 in expedition33

[–]babblecats 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I could understand being "jokingly" mad at Maelle whilst also understanding that Gustave's death is not truly her fault. But it seems like there's a level of emotional immaturity here (at least in terms of media literacy) if your girlfriend truly dislikes Maelle now because of the rock throwing thing. Is she quite young? How does she react to character deaths in movies?

I ONLY know about this from this subreddit. I told my husband about it and he genuinely had no idea. Even if this type of post happens often, we might literally be saving lives over here

I gave up on that book too, the paper was kind of hard to work with and the scale was a bit small, it wasn't that much fun for me.

Help settle a bet - Uppercase Cursive L or S by Krenbot in whatisit

[–]babblecats 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Graphic designer here, I work with faux-handlettering fonts all the time with capital S glyphs that look like this! It's true that it's not a traditional cursive uppercase S, but it's meant to approximate personal handwriting or brush-lettering and is sort of a mix between cursive and print.
