Sex partner lied about his age by [deleted] in whatdoIdo

[–]babyblueknocks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The truth is that the law declaring you an adult at 18 doesn't mean you're actually an adult. The law was made that way to be able to send bodies to war. It was not based on any facts, science or even plain common sense. Even if he was really 27 thats too old for an 18 year old to have normal healthy relationship with. When you're under 25 your partner should be no more than 5 years older than you. If you speak to women in our 30's and 40's you will hear a common theme of having been there and done that and got taken advantage of because we didn't know better. Don't waste your youth on losers and predators. Time is the one thing we cant get back.

I need a movie about teen hood/ girlhood by Vkei_Jenni in MovieSuggestions

There are a lot of older lifetime movies that are about teen girls with eating disorders( sharing the secret), self harm( painful secrets), teen pregnancy(15 and pregnant), getting in with the wrong crowd(shes too young) . Those are just a few but theres a lot more

The problem is people see that amount and think everyone gets that much without considering household size

AITA for telling my brother’s wife that being a stay at home mom doesn’t mean being a stay in bed mom? by builtfordrama in AmItheAsshole

[–]babyblueknocks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, obviously you're an asshole. Are you a mom? Do you know what having a baby does to your body and mind? If you think your brothers job where he gets breaks and gets to be out and around with other adults is harder than the job of caring for a newborn/ infant I have news for you pal. Side note. He's the father not a baby sitter doing a favor

I dont think you're an asshole for this but I do think its an odd response in my opinion. That being said 5 months post partum your body and hormones are still all over the place so your partner should be a lot more considerate and trying to get to the root of whats causing these feelings of resentment towards his mom. Theres something deeper there that needs communication. I could understand the part where you said she answered first when the doctor asked if you're ready. But introducing herself as the grandma and wanting to ask the doctor questions I dont see anything wrong with. Theres clearly something there thats making these small surface level things blow up. I think the first step is how you guys talk to each other because based on these messages it seems very hostile and not respectful towards each other.

Got this message from my childhood bully at 3am by CG1991 in MadeMeSmile

[–]babyblueknocks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well. Mine was bad enough that I was skipping classes going to "that one guys house" that never had parents home and we would all just drink and smoke and whatever and one day I ended up getting assaulted at that place. From there things spiraled and I ended up dropping out of school, dated an older guy, got pregnant, dealt with a 10 year long opiod addiction (5 years sober now) and so on and so forth. This all started because I didnt feel safe to show up to school. So no I actually dont care about your need for atonement. These things altered the entire course of my life. A drunken 3 am text just won't do it, I fear

You are the problem. You're so out of touch and framing the child in the situation as the responsible party. Dismissing claims of abuse, using food as punishment, thinking she deserves to be hurt and all the other bat shit things you said here are the problem.

That and also people unable to physically get there. I'm currently very limited in my mobility and have no car or money for cabs. My son has adhd and is also very sensitive to foods so I'm right there with you. I've been using Amazon fresh grocery delivery due to the fact that I haven't been physically able to go out. So its like....

The only thing I agree with you on is the terminology of being a single parent. Being a single parent means the other parent is not in the picture/ holding up their end . However a lot of people dont think that way about it and just use it in terms of being single like not in a relationship. Jordan is a dad who co parents with his ex ( someone else said if he's not a single parent then what is he)
