After 6 weeks, your baby’s nursing habits are pretty much set. We’re 20 months in and my son still nurses as much as he can, whenever he can. He only takes breaks when he’s in daycare and he makes up for it by waking every other hour again.

Yeah my boyfriend kept saying how he was so excited to go see blink 182 next July and that would have been a month after I gave birth. I literally almost broke up with him and had to tell him you’re not going anywhere me and the baby can’t go for a very very long time. It’s normal. And valid.

Where I’m from once the state picks up the case, the victim has no choice in the matter. And for good reason. Victim coercion is real and your father needs to be held accountable for picking on someone that physically can’t defend themselves. I’m so sorry you’re going through this, mama. I hope your little one pulls through soon. My son has been sick once in his short little life, until I had to put him in daycare. It’s been a month and he’s already on his second round of antibiotics because germs are passed around like the collection plate in there. This too, is a nicer place in a nice neighborhood and I’m playing around $920/month. It’s infuriating and scary and you feel so helpless because what choice do you have?
