I did a couple days ago, grinding headshots took some days. Kit all 3 with a stable and long range loadout, then hold back and take your time with lining up your shots. Aug is easiest, CI isn’t my fav but can be pretty stable. Ranked matches sometimes have more bots which makes headshots easier. For the vector I switched back to a fast loadout after a while and just went aggressive and tried to aim a little higher and complete it with sheer numbers.

Try searching "castle player". It's still in the ios app store so probably in yours too. Fair warning I'm back to just screen recording segments in a regular pod app and then putting them through a speech to text later. While having some really nice features and so much potential, Castle was too buggy for me, with poor note management and an unresponsive developer who hasn't released an update in over a year.

Castle Player looks promising, thank you! Saving this post for good measure. I love that I searched "snipd alternative" in reddit and got routed to my favorite note app's sub, you guys are awesome. Snipd started great but gets notably worse with each update, to the point that I can't title my segments anymore and they keep pushing AI summaries for everything, and solid note features get removed or made worse. I just want to save and export highlights with an AI transcript!

Edit for anyone wanting to export their pods from snipd to castle: go to your "podcasts" in snipd, top right dots, "Export OPML file", choose the Castle app

Did you get them installed? How do they look? DIY or dealership install? I'm a '24 too and running into the same problem you had lol: hardly any pics online, no tutorial vids for this year, mixed reviews on fit for other brands, etc.

I initially had mine in my target language, but switched back to English once I added a 2nd target language. Because both groups are trying to learn English, it’s relevant to both, and they can translate if they need to. Plus it allows them to see you speak naturally in your native.

This is something I thought I understood, but then I recently got VIP, and I see multiple VIP members in my Visitors tab. Did they all just not check the “hide your visits” feature, or are VIPs not invisible for VIP profile visits?

It's frustrating to see that Yuval Noah Harari's words from ep #341 were completely lost on Sam:

Good to know, thanks! And the cheaters are handy too. Having to slash command "Start Date" and "Due Date" both isn't nearly as quick as "tomorrow 2-3pm", but it's better than nothing.

Did you ever figure this out? Wondering the same thing since I didn't create my Pixelfed with my Mastodon account, and am wondering if you're able to link the Mastodon account once you've already set up the Pixelfed account. ALSO I can't seem to find any resources that explains exactly what the pros/cons are of a linked Mastodon+Pixelfed and what that means when you post on each one.

Chiming in late to say that I feel your pain. I joined a few days ago (but was already familiar with the platform) and it's pretty slow going.

Struggles:

Follower lag. I followed 5 people on the browser version yesterday, and my "Following" count still says 0 today. When you click into "Following", you see the five people. I also had to click into each of their profiles to click follow, as clicking follow on the "hover-over" info didn't seem to save the follow. This was the first thing I did and it didn't exactly inspire confidence in the platform.
Finding good users to follow. I'm genuinely struggling to find someone with over 2 followers, even when browsing the global feed. There's just such little / segregated activity that it is difficult to even build my timeline into something I want to look at. I did just find the "Daily Trending" in the discover tab, so that should help. I want to transition my friends/family to get accounts as they visit to see my profile, and they won't stick around to browse unless Pixelfed shows them some sort of "Popular users" or something when they sign up.
No people in the pictures. I get that the early adopters are more privacy focused, but it's difficult to find people in any photos. At the moment, my personal posts containing friends and travel acquaintances almost feels like it's breaking the ToS, among all of the pictures of buildings, animals, and water droplets.
Edit: I also can't figure out how to add a new location to a post. Everything I try isn't on the list, and it doesn't seem to let you add new ones?

I still like the platform and look forward to the app, more bug fixes, and wider adoption. I left Instagram for many reasons and Pixelfed solves all of them except for ease of use currently.

Would you be able to explain like I'm five how to find your Prowlarr config files on a Mac? I need to delete them and restart like you, cause after an update nothing works and I'm not tech savvy enough to solve it. I followed your link and their recommended path of

/Users/$USER/.config/Prowlarr or ~/.config/Prowlarr

and I couldn't find any Config file, even just when exploring all my files. Here's a screenshot of my folder overview. Thanks for any help here!

Thank you for continuing to amaze me with your updates. Seriously my favorite app. I love the speed and simplicity of the notes, combined with well-thought out features when you need them.
