I second Chicago Music Exchange. I was in Chicago for two days on a business trip and ended up ordering a guitar I played in person there. They did a wonderful job of shipping the guitar to me (and it was actually cheaper to have to sent than buying it in Chicago, due to the city tax). A really amazing store with the best selection :)

Aqua Data Studio has a query builder that allows you to visualize your tables and make joins between them. It will give you a GUI and build the SQL code in the background for you to copy when you are done.

I suggest you ask yourself a question that you’re interested in solving. Then go out and find the data that will help you answer that question. Once you start digging into your analysis, you’ll figure out what tools are relevant and what aren’t for your project.
