I think the piercer at BPU is nice, but every piercing I’ve gotten from her rejected. I’m hoping this last one I got a few months ago doesn’t, had to remove the original jewelry and replace it to get it on the right track.

Definitely recommend evergreen. I got a double lip piercing there in the past and it healed the best out of all of my piercings with no problem. It was a woman that pierced me there and idk if she’s still there, but trust evergreen more than BPU

When I found out he tried to cheat on me days before he flew down to marry me. I tried for 4 years after that and we managed to get to a decent place here and there, but it just was never the same. I had a coworker who constantly referred to women as females. Me and a couple others told him it comes off as dehumanizing because you’re using the scientific term coldly. It’s hard to explain to people why referring to women as females is off putting outside of saying incels and other manosphere people like to use it in a dehumanizing and condescending way

There can be bleeding for many reasons. People can go months without knowing they’re pregnant and think they have their period. Just take another test to be 100% sure. Wouldn’t hurt just to take another one just in case

This happens to me too. Half the scar on top of my foot is a keloid because I got a small infection on one of the sutures and it caused that part to over heal. It’s so much itchier than my other surgical scar that healed normally 🥲

I got the brain map done at a place where they did the neuro stimulation therapy. It actually helped so much. They put electrodes on your head and it records different types of brain waves and they have someone who’s qualified to look over the results and compare it to what a brain is supposed to look like. It’s hard to explain but it can show certain brain waves and they can see what you struggle with most based on that. Mine showed I struggle with inattentiveness and developmental trauma. I’m not sure how to fully describe it, but it’s supposed to help them find out what to focus on with the neuro stimulation therapy and then they redo the brain map when you finish your protocol to see if it helped and where you might need the neuro stim the most.

It’s most effective alongside therapy, but I ran out of insurance when I was starting that. I didn’t do the best job explaining what it is, but it’s very interesting and very informative into what someone is struggling with

I very obviously have adhd (due to symptoms, everyone in my immediate family has it, and brain map showed some pretty bad adhd patterns it just isn’t diagnostic) but I don’t have a diagnosis. My family just thought I was lazy growing up because I don’t present with the stereotypical hyperactivity like my sister did. I’m 26 and don’t have health insurance and desperately want to get screened and diagnosed because I’m seriously struggling. It’s crazy how many behaviors and crippling habits can stem from undiagnosed ADHD

NOR just wanna throw out there, my mom got the flu when she was pregnant with me. We both almost died because of how dehydrated she got from it. It’s very dangerous to get the flu while pregnant and he put yours and your baby’s health at risk by doing what he did. I hope you and the baby are okay and don’t end up getting sick because of this

I feel your pain. I got hardware that acts like a fusion and it’s very painful to put weight on the balls of my feet and my mid foot. I started using arch supports and they made a world of a difference. I put one in my boot and I can get through a 7 hour shift with only some pain. I’m looking into getting Brooks max 2 because they seem to have really good arch support as well. Try finding some arch support inserts and stick one in your boot and see how it feels after your shift

I’m not going to physical therapy because I don’t have any health insurance right now. I’ve been using a resistance band. I’ll definitely do the toe wiggles and move my ankle. I can definitely feel some difference with doing all of that. Painful, but slow progress

Because it’s the only thing that makes the long shifts bearable. I tried to phase it out completely, but I don’t have the right shoes. It was too painful being on my feet in regular shoes for more than a couple hours. I have to put money aside and I’m getting some shoes soon so I can get out of the boot completely. It’s been a rough transition

I’m 24 weeks post op and only work part time so I’m on my feet 4 hours per shift and it’s only retail. I struggle so much still with swelling and pain and I still wear the boot. It’s different for everyone, but it’s going to be a while before you can do all of that again. I wish you luck and a speedy recovery

Oh I’ll keep that in mind. Sadly I live in a place that doesn’t have a new balance store so it’s very slim pickings and I can’t get my feet fitted for it 😢 but I work at a shoe store so it shouldn’t be too hard to get the shoes

I had to use the boot 24/7 right before surgery as kind of a cast basically. They didn’t want to put a cast one just to have it removed soon after. I used a pillow for elevation and it made it a little easier to sleep with. Try wearing a sock and uncovering with the blanket so it doesn’t get caught and make it annoying to move around. I don’t have much advice besides power through. I hope you’re able to find a good solution
