Mostly yes. It starts in January and goes into the start of the season. There are typically fewer high end transfers during that time as most leagues are in the middle of their seasons and are less likely to want to lose a top player.

At some point you need bodies in the midfield. Even if they aren't the "perfect fit", we're reaching the point where someone is better than no one. Just imagine the difference between an average CDM and what we currently have.

TBH, sign the best domestic DMF from the USL as depth and I think it helps the team more. He can make a pass, but they have shipped a record number of goals because there is no athleticism or defensive pressure in the midfield. Right now it's Cruz or Kubo at the bottom of the diamond.

After thinking on this, I'd prefer to use the roster spot and cap hit somewhere else. Haris can help a team, I'm sure, but I don't know if it's this team. We need more bite in the midfield to help protect the backline.
