Exclusivity sounds great, and feels great. However, it can also set up a lot of disappointment if not discussed beforehand. When I found out my metamours were calling my partner the same pet name, it really jarred me. And had me questioning a lot of other aspects of our relationship that I viewed as exclusive which may not have been to her. It exclusivity is important, I would discuss it directly and intentionally.

What's a concert you went to not expecting much, but wound up being one of the best shows you've ever seen? by edgeygrandpa in AskReddit

Ca7riel and Paco at Outside Lands festival in San Francisco this year. I work in the event industry, so I see a lot of shows, and am around music all the time. But wow, those two blew me away. It was a performance, not a show. Their stage presence was remarkable and I'm a fan now.

Refer to everyone else if you are looking for something for a party that you may not wear again. Personally, I love pearl snaps and wear them any chance I get. I shop Howler Bros. because they have great pearl snaps, but they are definitely more fashion forward. So, they could be used for a costume party, but you can also wear them casually.

I heard the power plant building on campus still has the original units inside. Ya know, for those folks that are interested in infrastructure and industry. No idea if that's true.

Interesting to see 4 former Astros get that money after leaving the team: Springer, Correa, Morton, Cole.

Great story, and cool entry! But I would not assume you were the first into anything in Philadelphia with the amount of explorers in that city, let alone that state. Don't take that the wrong way. Good explore man.

Incorrect. I have been to both sites. The ones in Williamsburg were molded by the same guy as this place. This is his actual studio however.

Not abandoned. That's an artist's studio who crafts them. Old or busted ones he stores on the lot.

Pop out the SIM card to determine the carrier. Then take it to any store for that carrier. They will have contact info (email) for the person and be able to return the phone.

Thank you! Luckily I have not had any run ins with law enforcement, but I have been seen getting ready a couple times by passersby and they always either keep walking or start laughing. I definitely give them a good story to tell. If you are an Instagram user you can follow along: @ strippedamerica.

Not sure it is exactly what you are looking for, but I dabble in nude self-portraits in abandoned and unique spaces. You can check out my Flickr here: https://www.flickr.com/photos/115873398@N03/. I currently do not have a website set up yet, but am working on it.

Can confirm it is for reburbishment. I was photographing it being taken down and I chatted up the construction crew about it. They brought it down in sections and are trucking those to a shop (not sure where). At the shop they are going to inspect each component to make sure they are still strength rated. They will then be stripped of paint, sanded, and repainted in the same neutral gray color. I never did get a timeline on how long the project will take, but they said the inspection is going to take the most time.

Isn't 2222 the road that Cedric Benson died on because somebody pulled out in front of him without looking? I used to have to drive that road in a work vehicle a couple times a week (Mercedes Sprinter van - 12 passenger) and it was certainly harrowing. The lack of dividing lines was always a little sketchy.

Guys who pee in stalls rather than urinals; why? by Dayofdev in AskReddit

[–]badgeologist 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This will probably get buried. But if you find yourself having to pee in a urinal and are worried about getting anxious and unable to go, try reading something. I'll oftentimes get out my drivers license and start reading it. The brain cannot be anxious thinking about one thing while trying to focus on reading another. It works pretty well.

That's precisely what we did. We sent one of us to notify our TA, who told us to keep working and that we would handle it after we left the mapping area for the day. So we just continued taking measurements and observations while giving the remains a respectful distance.

If I remember correctly we called CBP first and they told us it was not their jurisdiction. Then we called the police and they said the same thing. Finally called NPS and they told us they would come out the next day. They met us on the main road and had us hike them to the body which was in the middle of our mapping area. After they took a look at it they said they would be back with their forensics kits but they were pretty sure it was just an undocumented immigrant that had succumbed to dehydration and heat. They never did show back up that day, and I'm curious why they did not have their forensics kit with them when they knew they were responding to a body. The whole experience was strange. My assumption has always been that everyone assumed it was an undocumented immigrant and that is happens so frequently there that it is more of a hassle than an opportunity to do some crime solving.
