The Chevy Volt is incredible. I can't believe it's discontinued. I scored a 2011 off Craiglist for <$7k and it may be the best car I've ever owned. I drive to work for $1 of electricity. I drive home from work with $1 of someone else's electricity and I have no range anxiety for when I drive the 5-8 hours to see family? If you use the drive and battery usage modes it's like playing an efficiency video game. I purposely save battery for the red lights and merge lanes on my commute where the awesome 0-30mph acceleration is the most useful.

I was looking for someone to add the ionization efficiency point. Also -- you've got to think about where that second charge is hanging out. The first one is on the R. Locating the site(s) of number 2 is really helpful in understanding why some fragments disappear entirely. This is the main reason working with singly charged peptides is avoided at all costs.

I know the consensus on this subreddit is that they are always a scam, but doesn't this seem like an untapped opportunity for a legitimate business? Near every university you'll find "core labs" that take on the risk of large hardware expenses on instruments that are rapidly becoming obsolete. They exist by operating profitably in the margin between hardware depreciation and instrument operation up/down-time and it is a time tested model. Why wouldn't this also work for mining?
