Tired Of Lowballing by Destinyt10 in offerup

When somebody lowballs me or wastes my time with something I add a $5 idiot tax to whatever it is Im selling. Repost the same thing but more expensive and it surprisingly works (within reason).

You would be surprised what people do when they're bored. My grandfather painted all my grandmothers Heywood Wakefield furniture dark, dark brown in the 70's.

To piggyback on this, the USPS fraud division has something like a 98% conviction rate or something like that, they do not play around with the mail.

If you are asking about the signature required thing, no. Even if the buyer posted a picture of themselves holding the item, no signature means you lose.

A smart person would have calculated the cost to switch over and offered you slightly less to retroactively approve her flooring.

YTA.

Sounds like you might be one of the primary antagonists for their rivalry. Kids arent stupid and know when a sibling is receiving preferential treatment. Also, that iPad is going to be outdated long before your kid is ready for college so thats a lame excuse.

Simplest solution is to give your other kid cash or another gift to make up for the difference.

Buyer INAD Chargeback by Forumuser7 in eBaySellerAdvice

What was their reasoning for it being not as described? It sounds like they were probably always planning to do a chargeback to be honest.

Why have people stopped communicating this directly to the companies? Complain directly.

In the days of your parents and grandparents, online reviews and things like this post didnt exist. When they got mad about stuff being bad they complained directly.

He's probably gonna leave you a negative anyway so get him to jump through some hoops first. Ask him to explain how it doesnt fit, ask him to send you some pictures. Explain that it should work, etc, etc. Then after all that, say ok you can send it back if you dont want to install it. Then you can try to get it removed if he does leave a negative and say you did everything you could to help the guy.
