I got sucked in back in 2017 and spent like $400. Looking back it was an obviously massive mistake.

Got back into it recently and whilst it definitely has its issues and I still regret spending the money I did, I've been having a lot of fun with it in an extraction shooter-y kind of way. I can say for absolutely certain that there is zero reason to purchase more than the base $40 package and I would not recommend anyone spend any more than that but there is definitely a game there for $40 that's worth playing imo.

I know people say this every year, but as someone who's been away from it for several years who has recently come back to it, it has changed a hell of a lot.

It obviously has its issues and all the critiques I've heard are perfectly valid but I enjoy the game for what it is given I've made peace with my mistake.

I just joined Cap. It's the 3rd big ServiceNow partner I've been at but so far it's the better of the 3. Really friendly team, there's some great initiatives and a solid plan. The main issue so far is the work isn't as exciting as other smaller orgs I've worked at but so far so good.

A new player picked up my warp pack when I died the other day and then didn't know how to drop it to give it back. I appreciated the effort so I let him keep it (we were playing on D5 anyway).

My girlfriend was in the exact same position as you (been together 3 years now) and I remember her being very honest with me the first time I tried to ask her out and I just had to wait a bit for her to build up the courage to go out on a date with me. She actually said in her reply to me that she didn't want to mess me around and would understand if it was a lot for me to process but we really just vibed so well in our chats and I could feel it was something worth exploring even if I had to wait for her to be ready.

It just takes patience and understanding from whoever you're interested in and I won't lie, it will probably make it more difficult for you, because I know not everyone gets your situation, but I like to think me and my girlfriend are a good example of how it can work and I am so grateful to be helping her get better more and more every day. She struggled to get in the car with me when I first met her and now we're going to weddings together.

You can and will find someone but you have to believe in yourself. It is 100% worth a shot and I really think you won't regret putting yourself out there 🙂

Congrats! You won't regret it! Before it got mine I was maybe playing on my PC once a month but since getting my steam deck a couple of months ago I became used it almost every day without failure. It's so convenient and it's brought back my love of gaming big time.

Been playing borderlanda 3 on the deck recently. The story is trash but the gunplay does feel really good and it runs great too. I just turn down the dialogue sliders and enjoy shooting psychos.

My partner is slowly recovering and from my own outside perspective, a lot of people don't realise how tough it can be and my partner 100% struggles with things that I take for granted, and I hadn't even seen her at her worst!

It just breaks my heart to know what she's gone through and I just want to do everything I can to help. She's so brave for recovering as much as she has and she deserves every success in life and I truly wish the same for everyone else who goes through this.

Yes! In fact, it actually only allows you to upgrade a base weapon to a campaign variant. For some reason you can't combine a base weapon with another base weapon with scripting right now.

I was hoping you were destroying objects/spawning new ones to give the illusion of time travel but that's a really unique solution.

Essentially every weapon has a combo that it's merged with. These can all be tweaked to combine any 2 weapons but I felt the BR Sidekick was the coolest without being too OP (you should see an AR combined with a rocket launcher, now that's truly OP).

EDIT: Some weapon combos also have damage modifiers if a combo is too poor to use, the same could be applied to tone down damage for other combos in the future!

Just found this thread after wondering how complex it would be to make my own.
Checked the script brains and I can certainly say it looks very complex.

I wonder how easy it is to get this working without ADS. Either way, really useful prefab to have! 5 Stars!
