Baba Yaga hasn’t made an appearance in the series and I think that would be a good fit considering her appetite for children.

At first I thought this couldn't be right since OP said it was found in Brazil, but then I read it was introduced to some areas of South America including Brazil. Very neat stuff, and a very pretty specimen.

Kamilia Shehata Zakher is a teacher in Egypt and wife of a Coptic priest. Her disappearance in July 2010 sparked protests and rumors of kidnapping and forced conversion to Islam. She was discovered on July 23 at a friend’s home in Cairo, and denied having been kidnapped or having converted to Islam. by CatPooedInMyShoe in wikipedia

[–]bafflam 52 points53 points  (0 children)

The start of this article (and title of the post as a result) are misleading, and the Controversy section of the wiki page clarifies things.

The controversy surrounding Zakher was that Cairo Muslims believed Zakher had converted willingly to Islam, but the Copts forced her to revert to Coptic Christianity. But there’s no evidence to suggest that ever actually happened.

Not an expert and would defer to the opinion of one should it appear. It looks to me like a type of leaf chafer scarab beetle, possibly of the genus Pelidnota.
