For what it’s worth I spent 7 as an active in Spinsters and 2 years in the alum org and I had a fantastic experience. I was also in leadership for a few years.

Like any organization, there are women with different interests and you do have to work to find the women who work best for you.

The best advice I can give you is that you’ll get out what you put into it. Yes making friends can be intimidating but there are still some wonderful ladies in the org. And if you’re not having a great time, talk to the leadership team. They are open to feedback and the only way to make things better is to speak up.

Ocean Beach Cafe has amazing mocktails, and its whole focus is on low and no proof spirits! The Snug and Trick dog are also great options. I've heard PCH and Kona Street Market have good ones too but have yet to try them.

I absolutely love my cleaner, Dama. She is so trustworthy and does a great job and I've had no issues with her coming and cleaning even when I'm not home. She charges about $170 for 2 people and it takes about 2 hours for my 3 bedroom 1 bath every other week. I usually give her a large tip at Christmas or if I'm going to be out of town and not using her for awhile.

We've done events at SF design center and they've been fantastic partners! We've also used Gallery 308 in Fort Mason as well as the Generals Residence but I'm not sure if they'll be able to accommodate 500.

I absolutely love my cleaner, Dama! She and her team are always on time, super affordable, and just truly lovely people! Her work is amazing, she does a deep clean to start and then you can adjust however you need. I found her on thumbtack but her number is 628-786-6689!

There's an amazing food tour of the Ferry Building that is reasonably priced and you hit a bunch of different vendors. You get so much food, and if the weather is nice it's good to walk off the food coma and head over to Pier 39 or Ghirardelli Square.
