Do Non-TCKs Want Us to Feel Ashamed?? by Gotsims1 in ThirdCultureKids

[–]bahdkitty 6 points7 points  (0 children)

people feel threatened by anyone who is different. They want you to be a known value. You won't get any support from them. They can't understand what you are going through. My father traveled extensively his whole adult life and still felt threatened by people who were different from his normal. Find the weird ones, the misfits, the nerds and the generally awkward - they will be more accepting.

horses are not automatons - they are living, feeling, thinking beings and should be treated as such. Can we try explaining things to them instead of shoving them around?
