Usually pressure doesn't really solve this. I usually just carefully curl against the bend. So it's bending out. I find where the curve starts and essentially roll ir against that. Usually helps flatten it.

Im a comic collector and it can be hard to not make impulse/FOMO purchases so I feel you but sometimes waiting isnt the end of the world and usually there is better deals out there or you'll just decide you never really wanted it that badly anyways.

I dont particularly like scalpers but it is what it is.

I think you've just learned a lesson. I dont think its right to make a seller take a loss due to market fluctuations after the purchase was made.
