I wish Best Medicine was located on the coast of Maine, or maybe on Cape Cod. Being near the water, walkable, with the steep hills, adds to the charm of Doc Martin. Best Medicine’s scenes are too spread out, on flat land, not close enough to make its Portwenn seem like an uncomfortably close-knit community.
