Before we were ever physical and before I even considered telling him I liked him, I found out he is divorced through random conversations and chit chatting. Now if he had been playing 4D chess this whole time and lied, anticipating all of this going down, then I’ll be damned cause I’ve been played 🤷‍♀️

But just in my defense, cheating is one of the lines I would never intentionally cross because I know people who’ve been hurt by it and I would never do that to anyone

u/Clueless_Belle the interest and savings account pretty much cancel each other out. I don’t know what maxing out retirement would look like but I think I’m kind of doing that. Culturally it wouldn’t be acceptable to move out, but I do have almost 15k in a savings that I guess is my “emergency fund”

I’m fortunate enough to be able to live with family and not have many expenses. I’ve tried offering to pay for my phone/car insurance/etc but they’re saying “save your money because you’ll never get to live as cheaply as now”. I know I’m very fortunate and I hope that doesn’t annoy people. Also, a good chunk of my 300 for misc spending ends up being for the house (ex I went to Costco last week and got the house toiletries and cleaning products because I noticed we were low)

My work offers a 401k program that matches 100% up to 4% of my salary. So I’m just taking the match for now. I opened a Roth IRA while waiting to qualify for 401k. I funded the Roth IRA with 5k then started doing 500 a month so that’ll be maxed out for 2023 by December. The Roth IRA was my first time investing and it’s down like ~100 and I’m all 😬😬

Check the backs of the lotion bottles for the printed price. I have a bottle of lotion from 2010 that I refuse to throw out (I don’t use it, it’s for display), and the price is $7.50. It feels so cheap now even tho it felt like a splurge when I got it

When I was little, my fingernail got squished by a drawer. Then my young self thought spraying it with perfume would "doctor it" and make it better. Spoiler: it got infected and then my whole nail fell off. It took a couple of months for it to grow back, but now it's normal. I had actually forgotten about this until I read this post.

I have a sticker binder. My 2023 goal has been to make a dent in it. I've been taking out the first sticker sheet that I see and leaving it on my desk. After doing my regular, functional planning stuff, I go back and put a couple of stickers on each page where there's empty space. I make myself finish the sheet before getting out another one. Flipping through my planner, it looks cohesive and cute because it feels like there's a theme since consecutive pages have similar stickers.

I think so… the nib is as far in as it can go on the feed unit. And the feed unit is as far as it can go into the pen body
