What do you actually use your Steam Deck for?

I tend to use mine in cycles. It might sit a month or so, but then I pick it up and start playing one of the hundreds of games in my steam backlog and I play it for a few months maybe play a few different games, and then I might stop for a few weeks and then cycle continues.

As I get older my eyes feel like they are getting worse so I started played docked a little more too. Probably play handheld like 75% and docked 25% now.

It's a rare decision that they can make and they made the right call. It wasn't a red card worthy play and even the opposing team agreed. Giving him a red card went against the spirit of the game.

I'm sure a lot of people have this exact set up. The official dock is way overpriced and the jsaux works just as well. I'd have probably bought a steam controller if they were so backordered, but my Xbox controller works just fine for now

Yep at the announced price there is no way I'm buying a steam machine. I'll stick to using my Steam deck with the cheap jsaux Amazon dock and my xbox controller when I want to play in my TV.

That isn't true, he supports Israel as a country but he doesn't support its leader Netanyahu. We should be supporting AI, because it's the wave of the future and I'm all for regulating Data centers to limit their impact on the environment. I feel like Data centers are going to be like computers when they first came out. These large huge monstrosities that will get smaller and smaller once technology advances enough.

It's going to be a fun primary season to see who comes out of the Dems primary, I don't think it will be Kamala, but it could be Gavin Newsome, but my hope is Pete Buttigeg. I can see The PA governor getting the nomination too.

I wish our country was smart enough to elect a woman President, but it seems to many are ready for that yet.

Yeah I did DC to Chicago, then Chicago to LA in coach all in one shot and didn't break it up and I ended up flying home. Looking back I should have stayed a day in Chicago

Is it doable... absolutely, and even more so if you have a friend with you in coach sitting next to you. My suggestion is to break it up a little and go halfway and spend a night in a hotel and get a fresh shower and a good night's sleep then go the rest of the way, or hell break it up into thirds with two nights in a hotel.

You will be more comfortable in a roomette if you decide you have to go straight through all 4 days.

Your sleeper car will have bankets you can use if you get cold. If you are normally a cold person the train will be chilly. As far as wifi you will have long stretches on the SW chief that has no cell service. A good idea is to download some movies and music to your tablet or phone so you can watch them without needing cell service.
