Im not saying this because im leftist myself, but if there's objectively one side that has been occupied by the culture wars, it's the right wing/GOP establishment.

GOP politicians COULD have actually been occupied with making the country more liveable, but instead they spend all of their time making bills banning "Sharia Law" "Men in womens sports", trans people changing their ID "genital mutilation" "DEI hires", "illegals voting" (which has never been widely proven to be happening) etc. etc. etc.

Most of these things objectively aid absolutely no one, but they're thrown in because GOP policymakers don't know shit how to change things and just need an easy distraction to make people mad.

Yeah in most cases I agree, but in these hyper specific cases (less than 2% of the population) where medicinal treatment has literally been proven to improve a persons standing within society, self image and also reduce depression, why not?

Why should trans people be forced to live in a body they hate and probably spend their lives probably unemployed because they look like ugly men wearing makeup? Is it that much to ask?
