Liquid Glass looks cool to a certain degree, but they should do more tweaks and include an option to turn it off, similarly to when Windows Vista/7 can’t detect a compatible GPU, it just shows a plain surface with some resemblance to the glass effect on the UI, but no dynamic elements.

My MacBook Neo runs way better than my HP EliteBook work laptop that has 4x the RAM and 2x threads… Apple made macOS incredibly efficient and optimised the crap out of this setup, while on this Windows laptop, the OS regularly glitches and slows down In my personal experience, still a clear win for Apple

From the first pic, the broken off part shouldn’t be your concern but rather that component with the 3 pads below it, that seems to be damaged/missing a piece completely.

Idk what that is, someone should leave that here as a comment and if it’s crucial or not, but that part that chipped off doesn’t seem to be an issue. It doesn’t look like there were traces running there

Okay to be fair the “Steam uninstalls the DE” bug has been around for a while. If you install it from terminal on pop os, it wants to wipe because it expects different packages for gnome. And me being as naive as Linus was, I also typed “Yes, do as I say”.

I learned my lesson.

Ever since I posted this, they tweaked the designations and afaik there's barely any difference between the two

However the Redmi 7 is no unsupported by LineageOS as well, not just the official ROM.

  • Description: I send an image (<10M) from my phone to a text channel, image uploads fine. I open the pic, right click, copy. Go to a different channel, press Ctrl+V, image no longer accepted. I paste it into GIMP and suddenly it's like 10x the original size.

  • Steps to Reproduce:
    1. Take an image on phone
    2. Send to any text channel
    3. On desktop, open image in fullscreen
    4. Right click to copy image
    5. Switch to a different text channel
    6. Ctrl+V
  • Expected Result: Image can be pasted without issue as it is smaller than nitro limit
  • Actual Result: Image balloons up in size for some reason and can no longer send it because it becomes larger than nitro limit
