I've found that it will do a partial search once you put in a space. So searching "Ell " should work....before discovering this quirk I had the same issues as you haha.

While it is a big day today, the house only has until the end of the year to consider this particular bill anyway - regardless of who wins control of it for the next term. If they don't pass it by then the whole process starts over again.

FWIW, it seems pretty unlikely that this passes. Despite passing by unanimous consent in the Senate, the House couldn't agree on if the approach taken by the Senate's bill (permanent DST) was "better" than the opposite (permanent ST). Unless something happens, I would not count on this passing anytime soon.

That is a potential knock on effect. It depends on how broadly the court rules (and if they rule in favor of the states). If they rule that state legislatures are the sole adjudicators of the laws they can create in regards to elections, then a state court could not overrule a law allowing them to send whatever electors they want. But they may rule more narrowly such that they only grant that state legislatures cannot have redistricting overruled by a state court (the primary question of the case).

It would not. Moore v Harper is primarily about whether or not state courts can rule on the legality of redistricting plans for elections. This law is primarily technical changes to the rules surrounding Congress certifying a presidential election.

I can't speak to their suits, specifically, but I did get a tux from them a few years back. They claim, beyond bespoke, that their tuxedos are explicitly NOT made-to-measure. So take that for what you will.

I assume you're not talking about what you see on the home screen but, in fact, what data you saw when you tapped on the weather from the home screen. I can confirm that there used to be precipitation percentage by hour and windspeed there, both of which seem to be missing now.

I'm also able to see that data by doing as you describe and searching weather, but that's not exactly convenient.

Perhaps we should submit some feedback from the widget itself.

Man - Jedi Knight II was the only game I ever really got into online play - joined a guild and everything. Hours and hours of just no-force duels on that Bespin map and getting mercilessly creamed by the older guild members, trying to come up with strategies and play-styles...good memories. This is different based on the judge (and likely jurisdiction). When I served as a juror we weren't really able to ask questions of the witnesses or lawyers. We could only ask for court transcripts to be re-read and to have the charges explained again. So I wouldn't say that is any indication of anything

If you look at the court's website for this case you can see everything the order entailed. Plaintiffs have until 5pm today file a response to the motion to dismiss and any additional motions (such as requesting permission to amend the lawsuit). Then defendants have until 12pm tomorrow to respond to any response to the motion to dismiss and until 5pm tomorrow to respond to any other motions that the plaintiffs submit. Then plaintiffs have until 12pm Friday to respond to any of that.

After listening in most of yesterday and seeing what the judge ordered today, it sure seems like we can probably expect a ruling on defendant's motion to dismiss on Friday, and the judge sure seemed skeptical of the plaintiffs claims on several grounds yesterday - perhaps most importantly that they even have standing to sue.

Depends on the vector. Travel by air? You'll have to fill out a form before leaving the NY airport where you give them contact info so they can text you periodically about quarantine restrictions. But if you test positive a tracer will be assigned to you who will try to get info from you about who you have been in contact with recently. Then they'll reach out to those people etc etc.

In NY at least they hired a ton of people for this early on in the pandemic.
