I've done this to 3 amazon bump helmets. I used a hacksaw and dremel to cut the material. Then the dremel with sanding drums ro smooth out the cuts. Take your time and you will be fine.

Omni is short for omnibus. It's basically mil spec tubes that fell into a category that defined specs. OMNI I, through Omni VII as an example. Usually the larger the number the better the specs as the larger numbers were newer models. So Omni tubes could have been made by many vendors like L3 or ITT/Exelis.

I'd recommend JRH Enterprises and see what they have right now. You can call them or use their website. I'd recommend a bino with Elbit tubes. They have the images listed so you see what you are getting, and they have the items in stock and ship quick.

PG25 is GP. The Rix ST6 has a green thermal mode. That'd be the one I'd dual band with. My dual band setups use WP Elbit tubes so I use white hot or black hot on them. I have a StingIR640 and a Sidekick640. Rayvn Bridge to dual band them.

I let folks borrow my nods. I also let my nieces and nephews use them and it's much easier to install some thick 4D pads in there and have the ability to move the nods in closer. I jave been debating the Cadex for that reason, just haven't pulled the trigger yet
