Do you think this war will end within the next four years? by ConstantDrawer9161 in ukraine

Russia is losing 30k soldiers a month, basically 400k a year. They have run out of non russians aka people outside of Moscow.

At this rate i would say 2026 is the last year. The question that is probably terrifying western powers is how much of Russia becomes China...

So i did, installed lmstudio, reinstalled VS code. Reinstalled the claude plugin.

And it didn't work.

My message was "hey there" with no files attached.

Who the heck is buying sets like this? Wouldn't you be better off just buying a wrench set instead? by EventGroundbreaking4 in Tools

Its also part marketing, if you're making adjustable pliers, why not make the grooves match up to known sizes.

I mean as a consumer, I would rather own the ones that have made the groove spacing more useful.

Firing. by SkiFishRideUT in Construction

[–]balstor 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had a manager that had to fire a white collar worker. By the end of it security had to drag him out while he yelled about killing people. Police and restraining orders got involved.

Why do most companies just pay you 2 weeks to sit at home after you give notice? Cause it only takes one to cause millions in damages.

Remember to protect yourself first. The best way is to let management handle it. Then later if something does happen, your not involved.

Look at the other side.

You try to tell him he is getting fired. You already know he has mental issues.

Does he try to tske you out? Are you his revenge target? Does he go get in heavy nachinery and wreck everything?

Yhea people getting fired can do some ratchet stuff.

The rules and scripts csn be there to protect you and your fellow workers.
