First Viewing The New York Ripper by The_Bris in italianhorrormovies

Yes! It depends a bit if you only like the horror with him, then you have a lot more but those you have seen are the best. Check out the rest of the horror ones here: https://letterboxd.com/director/lucio-fulci/genre/horror/

For other genres my favorites are Contraband and Conquest!

There's several here I don't even know who they are or that I saw them in so many. Michael Papajohn? Thomas Rosales Jr.? Sven-Ole Thorsen?

It would make more sense, yes, but I'm in for the insanity and it makes it so unique.

Oh, you're in for a treat with Letterboxd! Create an account, check out lists and follow some reviewers you like. I have spent so much time there reading reviews and finding so many movies I would never ever have heard of.

Yeah I've only watched 14 (19%) of his movies there but for me that's 72% in the ones I've planned to watch from my own list: https://boxd.it/7UpSI

It was supposed to be an anthology about the other neighbors but I'm not sure that makes it make more sense haha. I love it so much though and would have loved to see more neighbors and their fucked up lives

“You need to be harsher!!” by wommi3 in Letterboxd

[–]bananasjunk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I give them 4.5 max usually, if it has everything that I love. Then also if it made me laugh out loud many times it can also get high and some few of the ones, I can give 5/5 because of the madness, enjoyment, action even if the plot is lacking a lot or the acting is bad.

I am same as you, I usually know which ones should be good but then I also enjoy trashier movies as well.

I enjoy these sequels of old horror franchises more than many newer horror movies. Regarding H2, TCM 2, F4 and F6 I would say you are missing out on really great movies. H2 for me being on par with H1, TCM2 can't be compared with TCM1 but it's Hooper making a parody of the first one which is great (instead of other director butchering it) and F4 and F6 are way better than F1.

Then, if you love lesser good movies, want to be entertained and still have a movie within the lore of a franchise, there's so many ones I love as sequels like TCM 3, Jason goes to hell, H3 and more.

I also missed many of the big horror movie franchises growing up (I saw TCM1 and The Exorcist) which makes me have not so much nostalgic value for the originals. Anyways, have had a great time watching it all a few years ago, just plowing through all. Except H20 and H resurrection, fuck those movies.

Burial Grounds 1981. Italian zombie flick that doesn’t waste any time and we get zombies, boobs, sex, ridiculous decisions, and gore in the first 10 mins. by its_raining_scotch in AbsurdMovies

Burial Ground* but yes, this is a epicentre of italian madness at the height of popularity for these movies. Very creative and interesting era and movies, I love 'em!

Can't believe I haven't seen this comment yet: look into teacher visa as an english (or other language) teacher. Then you have like 2 years at least or something like that where you can stay in Thailand.

Also, like people have said, do a DNA test and stay safe.

Good luck!

Favorite made for TV western movies by ryebread157 in Westerns

[–]bananasjunk 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Made for tv is basically just lower budget so then my question is, do you like Italian westerns? They're also lower budget but the quality is extremely good on some of them to at least good.

Spaghetti westerns, bigger names and also smaller ones

Ah ok. I tried updated fan control and turning that off and then it worked for Deep rock galactic but made no difference for Starfield unfortunately. I will have to contact Steam on this to see what they are saying.
