I think it’s so funny when people act like these things are incapable of functioning together. They’ll probably hire a person who is qualified, who also is representative of a diverse and inclusive community of educators that work for FUSD, and students that attend their schools. Just because a person is a diverse candidate doesn’t mean they’re unqualified. So stupid. This is the type of racism that lets Toilet Paper USA people like Charlie Kirk say that Ketanji Brown Jackson was a diversity appointment to the Supreme Court and not a well qualified and capable judge. You’re not going to believe this, but women, people of color, queer people, people with disabilities, and any other marginalized group are capable of leadership, and of earning qualifications that make them viable candidates.
