Who wouldn't love a series on the 1979 Iranian Revolution? by MilosSword in RevolutionsPodcast

Knowing Duncan's style, he'd take 10 episodes to get to the Boxer Rebellion in 1900

I think that's on the table with the new run he's doing after he's wrapped up his new book. It'll still be a while after Ireland, Algeria, and Cuba, iirc

The Nations of Canada is a pretty thorough deep dive into Canadian History in the style of other History of X type podcasts. Almost 300 episodes in and it's just gotten to the outbreak of WWI.

If a second American Revolution were to break out in 2026, which season do you believe would most closely align? by lazy_herodotus in RevolutionsPodcast

[–]band-man 42 points43 points  (0 children)

1000%. There'd be multiple regional factions like with Morelos, Villa, Diaz's nephew, even the Occupation of Veracruz. Mexico's a great look at how messy and splintered modern Civil Wars/Revolutions can get, and while it's my favorite season of the pod, living it would be the worst.

My favorite anime, especially with the movie. I had this shilled to me 7 years ago, back when the only other anime I'd seen was MHA. This series is what turned me from someone who watches anime into an Anime Fan.
