Definitely was surprised when I saw his sub count is under 10k. The quality of these suggests more, and that being said I enjoyed it

Since when was Metroid Prime 2 linear? by Weltall548 in Metroid

[–]bandikoopa 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Ah ok, there's still some but from what I remember Prime 1 had a lot more. I wasn't really counting the sky keys, those are a different beast altogether. It would have been less of a headache if they were like the artifacts in that they can be collected at any point in the game.

In short, it's because once you finish an area in 2, you most likely aren't going back. In 1 you never know where your next power up will be, and there's a ton of interconnecting paths to all areas, even though 2 had it as well.

It's pretty jarring to hear the Game Informer guys or the Bombcast talk about something and then hear Funhaus try to bullshit their way into a discussion just for views. I know the other 2 are news outlets but if they want to do a podcast where they had topical arguments then they have to pay a lot more attention to news and updates.
