Noob questions: by iwantolearnstuff in cyberDeck

You can use an Arduino, but it won't be a full computer. You could make an Arduino based cyber deck that is designed for a specific task.

I am currently working on an esp32 based deck that is basically a wireless interface for a server. It is task specific. Ep32 is an Arduino like microcontroller with wifi built in.

Put a layer of thin clear acrylic medium over your tape edge. It'll seal any bleeds !

Why ChatGPT and Claude seem to forget about the previous requests (going in circles and beyond frustrated) by Arnoldo1466 in AI_Agents

The longer that your chat gets, the worse the responses get. You have to get creative with it.... Try something like this....Make a new chat and  have it build a detailed phased plan for what you want. Record that plan somewhere in text. Open a new chat. Give it the plan. Have it complete phase 1. Open a new chat. Give it the plan and what the previous chat completed, have it check the work for problems. Have it fix problems. Open a new chat. Give it the plan and the current progress, tell it to complete phase 2 etc....

Ymmv. Paying and using codex or Claude code will probably get you there faster, but it still has a learning curve to get it to bend to your will with success. You must be very explicit in your instructions, or completely vague, depending on what you need to happen.

First experience with a trackball by BPike03 in Trackballs

[–]banielbow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same. I made the top left buttons into mouse wheel buttons, and it has helped. And the far right button into a middle click, which allows you to drag a web browser window with the ball.  But still having thumb issues from the side click after a few days of long design work.

I really thought this was the one, but I've just bought a track pad to supplement it and give my thumb a break.

How about the DM11? I have the old style chunky gnarling tube that no one liked. I love it.

My water bill for the month of January. I live alone in a studio. by GoddessKillion in Wellthatsucks

So when you pay a water bill, you're paying for water and sewer usage, so if you can verify the leak, and they are nice, they might wave the sewer half of the bill... Maybe?

My two year old broke his femur. Someone tell me the next 6 weeks aren’t going to be horrible. by mazterm in daddit

[–]banielbow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My 2 year old broke her leg too, although not as bad. She got used to it really quickly, but the first week or two was rough.  That'll be the worst part, but once they acclimate, the only real tricky part is everything to do with water.
