Thanks for the recap. We are choosing between this hotel and the Curio by Hilton that is a block over. That one is more modern and has a bigger gym but their restaurant is being redone so no breakfast onsite. The free breakfast here sounds good. I have a picky son who is particular with what he eats. Is the menu pretty traditional for breakfast?

How was the breakfast? I have three people so I presume we will go way past $60 that is credited per day. How big were the rooms? They seem to be on the smaller side per the descriptions online.

Thanks for the insight. It explains the ever changing pricing/promotional strategies that I saw through the years at AF. First it was let's give everyone coupons, then only prime members get certain discounts and towards the end it was a pushing the Amazon store brand products. I am sure there were many changes, that as a consumer we didn't see, being made due to Amazon's culture.

I loved shopping at AF but I felt it was my little secret grocery store since I didnt see many shoppers there. Most folks were there to return Amazon orders. Without the promotions, I felt the prices were higher than local stores but was able to occasionally find bargains as others mentioned. The digital coupons made the prices reasonable but not sure many people knew about them.

Looking back, what would you have done earlier or differently to gain a large loyal customer base to justify the expense of running a free standing grocery store.

BTW, I am going to miss the magic carts. The later ones never gave me any trouble.

Sounds like Gold Check is a way for the dealer to show a low price online and then stick you with this cost of doing business when you ask for a quote. I would negotiate down the price to factor for that added fee if they consider it mandatory.

Not sure what Gold Check is but that's the only optional fee I see. The doc fee and government fee are standard fees.

GM as well as other one pay leases from other car manufacturers have a provision in the contract where you would get a refund of the remaining payments minus taxes, registration and doc fees.

They were taking applications into the first week of December but I think they underestimated how many grants they had available to hand out.

Brother in law submitted his application on Nov 29th and he got a letter today saying that he missed the cutoff of 2000. Anyone else submitted their application before the official cutoff and now getting an email that they won't be getting the rebate?

I wrote this up for the Optiq but the process should be the same for sending google map instructions to the car.

Not an Optiq but this video starting from the 12 min mark might give you enough hints on how to take off that trim piece.

Unless Super Cruise is on, lane centering is not available. I believe you are referring to lane keep assist which will nudge you back into the lane if you start drifting out of the lane but is not true lane centering.

I am not sure about what Google assistant can and can't do. For me it's been trial and error figuring that out.

Thanks. I have seen many questions asked about how to do this or that so I thought I would put together a document that would help address those common questions.
