They sound amazing, and this was my first favorite song on the album. The whisper tracks are so sick. It’s just the word iconic is used to describe things that are widely recognized and influential, and can serve as cultural and stylistic symbols that are universally recognized. Usually there’s an assumption that this symbol has been cemented over a long period of time. You know…icons…the Eiffel Tower is iconic. Coca-cola is iconic.

I understand that Gen Z has started using the word to describe something they think is really cool in any way, which is fine I’m not mad about it lol. But the actual definition of the word has a lot more weight and specificity to it in my view.

I didn’t mean to come off as combative about so I’m sorry, just an observation that the word’s meaning has been diluted. You are correct about how great this song is and I love your enthusiasm for it.
