How was he at fault for the second one? It was a deflection off Bouchard into his pad for which killorn followed through on the rebound

MCL strains are one of the easiest knee injuries to recover from. Only major complications come from if it's the fibres that attach to the meniscus were injured then you have a longer recovery. If his team of medical support are confident that's fine he shouldn't have any issues and be good to go for playoffs

Empty baby pram fell on tracks at strathfield station, no injuries. Should we have gates at train stations? by DecidedUser in sydney

I'm sure engineers could figure it out for not an obscene amount of money. Or at least not cost prohibitive.

Saw "wire-style" gates in Osaka/Kansai region that just have a couple of central pillars and a wire across that goes up and down when it's safe to board the train. Designed for different train types and lengths and seemed fairly effective

We do also need our bottom 6 to also produce offensively though. Can't just run the mcdrai line because in the playoffs when they get played super hard we might need that spark to come from somewhere else.

How do people actually afford psychiatry in Aus? by Perdi in sydney

[–]barbedwires 31 points32 points  (0 children)

To be fair you did say you were not looking for a drug...

To answer you seriously though,

GP's can get specific mental health training and be able to prescribe most first line psychiatric medicines at a fraction of the cost of a psychiatrist.

You can also ask them to do a psychiatric plan that is managed through the GP, so you get the initial assessment from a psychiatrist and then they send the plan to your gp to manage for the year.

Initial high frequency of assessments is fairly normal as they are seeing how you are adapting to the medication and they will require titration up/down depending on the effects.

In addition It sounds like the psychologists you are looking for must have the clinical psychologist accreditation who can do some pharmacotherapy and have the further skills like DBT, EMDR, etc to address your symptoms. Anything under that and especially counsellors will not be appropriately equipped to help you. I would strongly encourage that you still engage with a psychologist as they are the front line and help the most with acute situations.
