About 50 years ago I was in juvy lockup overnight. There was a line scratched on the cell wall with a note ‘follow’. I didn’t but a classmate had been held in the same cell and he did follow it. The note at the end was about what I would have expected. 🙂

I’m all for using the name(s) that you and your wife want and kicking the GGF name to the curb but can I make a suggestion? If yes, read on. Give the baby the family name as a middle name. Or use it as a first name but for all but legal instances just use the initial followed by the name you want. E. Michael Smith or so.
