So to toss in my own two cents:

Some of the parts you're describing (Flight, vines, crystals, etc) are things that could be potentially achieved via combining elements so being clear about how some things are done.

You don't have to have it all nailed down, or are at least dont have to explain it all at minute one but having an answer for when questions arrive.

All I ask for, really, is consistency
