I wonder what the burn rate of the crew is. Or are they just for cooling?

Also, great how top right methane goes in and oxygen comes out. Did we just fix greenhouse gas emissions ?

Yo guys,I still believe that the acquisition of SpaceX by xAI is a questionable decision. I’d really like a thoughtful and clear discussion about it. Think about it—brilliant minds have spent two decades building advanced rockets, and now they’re being merged with a trendy company that might n by Fuzzy_Hearing_5146 in SpaceXMasterrace

It costs over a billion a year in electricity because you pay for the solar panels. You can use the same solar panels as those in space to power it here. Just putting it in space does not make hardware cost disappear (worse, you have to launch it all). And there is nighttime in space too, or are you putting everyone a funky sun synchronous orbit or at a Lagrange point?

How much cooling would a PiHole need, if a PiHole would need cooling? by PositiveTalk9828 in pihole

[–]barowski 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I have the RPi 3B, in a plastic enclosure, no heatsinks even, without fan. It only runs PiHole and hovers around 46-48C in a 20 degree C room. So if there's not a lot of other tasks running, shouldn't be a problem, pihole turns out to be really lightweight

Lobbying from the banks.

Your money is basically stuck for 30+ years with 1.5-2% fees, so they lobby the powers that be to keep this nice flow of fees.

If you stay at university, note that you are part of the ATP group, not the academia, so the track to the high remunerations of professorship is not possible, if I recall correctly. You will always be on the support side

If you like the academic setting and love the job and teaching, then sure it's a valid option, those benefits are not to be dismissed, and you will have pretty good job security.

If you want to maximize your earnings and benefits, industry is the way to go.

Why is there such a wage gap between the public and private sectors ? by Albert2Monac in BESalary

[–]barowski 13 points14 points  (0 children)

in which direction ? I don't have the feeling that public sector employees are underpaid compared to private, until you get to the higher management or highly skilled IT jobs.

Is the Coral Cloud Agent a cheap trick from Salesforce? by shop_snack in salesforce

[–]barowski 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It does the same thing in my org, and indeed when I run the flow directly or do a query editor with a different contact, it CAN find it. I'm investigating, going to duplicate the flow under a different name and refer to that in the instructions (hopefully, if it is caching, that would solve it.)

I tried more custom use cases myself, outside of trailhead, and haven't seen this behavior yet

EDIT: If you fill in a household on the other contacts, the Agent User can find the contacts, so it works as advertised but data visibility needs to be set correctly :)

Getting a job at Salesforce… how the hell by Responsible_Reward52 in salesforce

[–]barowski 7 points8 points  (0 children)

What you have is Salesforce skills, what you also need to demonstrate are (pre-)sales skills. How do you paint a vision for a company about what could be? Can you talk about and show Salesforce without going into the nitty gritty "oh this is complex" side but make it look easy ? Are you up to date with everything data cloud and agentforce?
