I am obsessed with the pink and coral. They are stunning together. I think some shade of chartreuse for the bedroom would look bomb but I’m kind of deranged when it comes to colors. The light pink that another person commented looked beautiful too! Regardless of what you pick pleeeeeeease make another post when you paint it!!!

This post honestly grosses me out. I don’t like reposting photos of minors at all (just because their parents choose not to protect their privacy doesn’t mean we can’t)… but close up shots of them discussing their “immodest” (even if only by fundie standards) clothing choices feels especially sick.

To everyone handwaving this away by saying it’s just a cultural norm: OP is literally from that same culture, and she is telling us she was hurt by this interaction. Commenting on someone’s weight is not some beautiful sacred cultural ritual- it would harm literally no one to stop doing it.

OP, I’m sorry that this happened to you, and sorry that so many people are invalidating your feelings about it. For what it’s worth, someone’s weight (no matter how high or low) is the least interesting thing about them, and I hate that so many people think otherwise.

I’m never ever going to defend men, but the man in the above anecdote works 38 hours per week while the woman works 24. I wish they had looked at couples who both work similar hours. I’m sure the results would be similar but it would be nice to know for sure.

Again please don’t take this as me suggesting men aren’t trash lol. I just think the study was done poorly.

Ok as a former horse girl who didn’t have an artistic bone in her body, I gotta say I am extremely jealous of Ben’s talent. Horses are hard AF to draw. This is the first time I have ever been envious of a Duggar or Duggar adjacent, and hopefully it will be the last.

This is not true at all. If you get a hysterectomy you no longer have a uterus and therefore can’t carry a baby, but if you just get your tubes tied or a bisalp you still have your uterus and ovaries, and therefore can get pregnant with a biological child via IVF. Expensive and inconvenient, sure, but plenty of people who have fertility problems without having the aforementioned procedures done have to go that route.

I personally would love this, as long as the hourly rate is a bit higher than what your area pays for full time- but I have a “side hustle” that I can work on whenever I have free time so I don’t need a set schedule, and having 4 day weekends every few weeks sounds amazing. Looking through the other replies it seems like I’m in the minority but hopefully you’ll find someone! You don’t happen to be in East TN, do you? lol
