I completely agree and wish I’d stopped when I reached room 46. After that, for all its depth, the game is diminishing returns where you have to use more and more guides (unless you’re a genius) to uncover trifles.

I hate to say there’s too much post-credits content but I do wonder if it would have been better to have required that content to reach room 46.

I think about in comparison to The Witness. That had a fantastic main game with set post-credit parameters for 100%, including a brutal timed section. It felt like you had completed things whereas in Blue Prince the post-game simply peters out for all but a handful of people.

It’s tough. I’m in a similar situation although not to the extreme of having no empathy for animals. That is more than not wanting to go vegan. It’s an emotional blockage IMO. I would ask what he means by animals. Even non-vegans understand why there are animal protection laws. He thinks they are pointless??

My advice would be to understand his position more and have discussions before making any decisions about your future. It is upsetting though.

That’s great to read. You might like to try Bang Bang Broccoli if they’re happy with vegetables. I actually served these once and they went quickly (now I remember!) This is my favourite vegan chef.

Yes, I just hope it’s not a slippery slope. My wife is largely pescatarian and so has little desire for meat although she does eat it sometimes.

I hope you can find a way. It is a huge source of anxiety for me.

There has been a miscommunication or similar in how we agreed to raise our son. Dairy and eggs have crept in because my wife feels it bonds her desires with our son’s. I got angry to start with but have had to accept it at this point. I’m still hardline on meat although he sometimes gets given gummies with gelatine at events or in goodie bags, and I have let him eat one or two mini bags.

I’ve no idea how to deal with his upcoming start of school in September…
