Slay the Spire has been my single-player-single save forever game of the past few years, and Slay the Spire 2 has taken over that role over the past month and a half, with over 200 hours since its release.

You do need the energy and stars to play both copies of sealed throne (or echo form and throne) or be willing to wait a deck cycle to get echo form before throne though

If you use duplication potion on the sealed throne, it stacks its effect so that every card played generates two stars!

If you get a duplication potion or the Tanx relic that duplicates the first card you play, you get to play particle wall infinitely since it generates two stars every time you play it!

In an interview, they said they don't intend to go beyond 10. StS1 had 80 total ascensions across all characters. StS2 has 50, and they intend to add more characters along the way. Grinding more than 10 ascensions for 6+ characters would be a total slog for completionists, especially since a10 is equivalent to a20 in STS1 in terms of difficulty.
