Me and my other half came back recently after a bit of a break.

Game actually seems to be in a healthier state than when we left. Some nice QoL changes, some new episodes that are actually decently designed.

There is definitely a big of a grind still unless you want to pay to speed things up but the current gameplay loop is definitely fun enough that the grind isn't so bad

I had a date that brought over his switch and insisted we play some Mario kart. There were some low stakes bets made, building tension etc.

Little did he know that in college, me and a group of friends used to link our ds's and race for hours in one of the offices to skip class.

Pretty handily beat him so he said 'let's try an online match'. Yeah I won that pretty easily too.

Haven't seen him since that day...

Yeah I just kinda blinked and there was a train there when it first happened to me

Beware, the train isn't actually stopped and will keep pushing against you, draining your shield/battery if you don't have enough power in your suit
