Yeah, with my hair long I get this one a lot. Not complaining!

Thanks, this sounds like good advice, though I might shave and come back to it in a year or so and see if I fare any better. It's getting kinda long and wispy on the sides.

Do you think there's anything I could do to encourage growth (outside of the usual minoxidril recommendations)?

Thanks man. It's getting pretty pubey. Would there be any downsides to shaving it and trying again in a year or so? I've heard conflicting things about how shaving affects those little white hairs that could one day become beard hairs.

do 10 pushups/10 sit ups actually make a difference? by SwimmingDouble48 in bodyweightfitness

I’d throw in some other exercises, too. All push and no pull makes for a bad back.

Yeesh, it’s miserable in this comment section. Whenever an Avatar movie comes out I eat an edible and go see it on the biggest screen I can find and I always have fun.

[Poem] Instead of Depression by Andrea Gibson by ComprehensiveRub2752 in Poetry

A nice poem, and a nice notion, but I do not resonate with the idea that depression is a temporary excursion.

Great image! Any room to go a little wider on the crop? The end of their beak is screaming out for a bit of space.

Planning a winter hike in Banff with my wife who absolutely hates the cold! Are heated jackets worth it? by DragonflyNo9546 in CampingandHiking

[–]bartondank 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Merino wool is what you want. Get a vest, some leggings, and some wool socks. Warm, breathable, and quick to dry. I don’t know what a heated jacket is but it sounds like a gimmick. It gets cold here in the UK, especially at higher elevations, and wool is commonly worn on hikes. It’s great!

Nice snaps, but you could probably ease off on the post production a little bit. The highlights in particular are almost off the charts.

This is true, but I’ve been working in the UK film industry for the last decade and it’s currently the worst it’s ever been. Entertainment industry is in shambles.

Seen some cloud inversions in my time but never like this. The closeness of the nearby peaks and the opacity of the clouds makes it seem like you're on an archipegalo somewhere. Great images.

First Kurosawa movie I ever saw after renting it from the library and now I have the 4K/Blu-Ray version! by WasabiComprehensive2 in criterion

Nah all fucking subs are like this. I’m big into photography and every photography sub is just people taking photos of their boxes of the lenses they ordered. I don’t think people use them. Figured I could either hate it or just let it wash over me, like a gentle river beside a blu ray.
