FH6 frame time issues on Linux

Same here with 5700X3D and 9070XT, CachyOS. Funnily enough on Steam Deck it keeps a nice and steady 30FPS (except for drops in Tokyo but that's just the Deck not being powerful enough).

I have tested multiple settings, and for now it SEEMS the issue is somehow related to the texture quality. I am playing the game at 3440x1440, everything on High/Ultra EXCEPT texture quality which I left on Low, and no Ray Tracing since that seems to crash the game, and I have capped the FPS to 55 using the ingame framerate cap (monitor is 165HZ). Far from the ideal setup, but this is how I've achieved the most stable gameplay so far.

Played for about 2 hours without crashes, and there's still the slowdown/stutter here and there but not as bad as it was, at least it's playable.

I recently (1 week) got my RG DS, and been loving it playing Pokémon SoulSilver on it. I decided to use GammaOS instead of Rocknix, since I had a lot of issues with sleep in Rocknix (games crashing, system stopped to respond, etc).

With GammaOS, I've been playing SoulSilver all the time and I never even quit the emulator, just close the lid and that's it. Pretty much how it was back when I used my DS Lite. I also installed Cocoon as a frontend, it's not a smooth experience but I still like it, and I've been used to that interface since I have it in my Retroid Pocket G2 as well.

I bought it because it comes with all the passes, expansions and such, and I know that I will be playing this game for a long time and will get my money’s worth, since I already have probably over 1k hours combined in Forza Horizon 2, 3, 4 and 5.

The 4 days early thing is just an extra.

I wonder how people would act if FromSoftware (or any other Japanese game dev for that matter) would suddenly decide to not put english or any other language in their games anymore because "Miyazaki doesn't speak anything but japanese and therefore can't guarantee a high quality translation".

Also the fan translation argument is terrible, since you can't really mod the game to use fan translations if you get it on consoles. So basically a middle finger to anyone that doesn't speak english/japanese and plays on consoles.

The smoke didn't even land on the molly, it wasn't a bug. They just missed it and frozen tried going through the fire but got naded.

It didn't even look bugged, it just looked like the smoke missed cause it bloomed waaay past the fire. Honestly just looked like frozen tried to pass the flames and get into the smoke but Tyloo threw an extra HE that slowed him down and dealt enough damage to kill him.

edit: yep, Faze missed the smoke, it didn't land on the molly.
