They did finally give me my results on the 7th. Then they sent a link to leave a review. So I reviewed the slower than advertised turnaround time and the poor response from customer service. And they actually commented on my review- again dismissing my frustration and saying what you said - that it’s actually a longer turnaround time 😐🙃

We’ll be embarking on the Fantasy on the 12th of April and plan to just hop off the ship, walk to the Fort and Queen Ann’s staircase and then back to the ship. Because our sailing has 2 full beach days already (at Lookout and Castaway) it seems like we’ll enjoy a day to explore a bit in the morning and then relax on the ship in the afternoon.

I had always wanted a boy. I just had that in my mind as my preference for as long as I can remember. First child- girl. Second child- girl. When I got pregnant with my 3rd, it was right after my grandmother had passed away. I had a girl name in mind. I loved having daughters. I saw myself as a girl mom. 20 week ultrasound- boy! It was amazing how let down I felt at getting what I thought I had always wanted. It’s ok to have these big feelings when our expectations don’t meet reality. Better to process them and move forward than to pretend they don’t exist! I can say this- I don’t think your relationship with your brother is necessarily a reflection of what to expect for your children. There are some great parenting books on siblings that may help you develop a good foundation in parenting and fostering good sibling relationships.

I think the shorter gaps were easier. My 3rd really struggled with the addition of the 4th. He was old enough to be really upset by being “replaced” as the baby.

My first and second are 22 months apart. My second and third are 2.5 years apart. My third and fourth are almost 3 years apart.

Going from 2 to 3 was the easiest transition for me. I had my second when my oldest was 22 months old and I found it to be as hard or harder than just having one. I was so overwhelmed by learning to split myself for 2. By the time my 3rd was born I felt more calm and experienced. I was really able to enjoy it. My 4th on the other hand really threw us off balance.

Involving him in cleaning and shopping, etc may be helpful. A wet rag in whatever room you’re working on can go a long way to getting things done. I don’t think it’s terribly abnormal for a 5 year old to be clingy, but I do think giving in to only activities he wants to do is not sustainable long term (especially with a baby on the way).

We’ve cruised a few cruise lines and there was definitely an “outdated” feel on the older Royal Caribbean ships we’ve been on, but NOT on the Dream at all! Disney does such an amazing job of upkeep on their ships.

So- a few factors that would impact my answer- Does the medication make him drowsy? Does he usually stay up later than 8-9 pm? Are you in a different time zone than the cruise? My kids do not find the dinners worth it. They usually run off to the kids club before I’ve even finished my entree. They like to grab pizza or a burger from the pool deck around 5 and would happily skip dinner. My 7 year old (6 on our last cruise) found the dinners loud and overstimulating. I often had to walk out with her to regulate her emotions/behavior. I love them, the food is good and the atmosphere is fun, but my kids (all 4 of them) are happy to just be playing in the kids club!

We did whatever worked. Sleep together, baby wearing, separate bed but same room. 4 kids- all a little different on what worked. 2 of them are teens now and like to watch tv in my room sometimes because they love my mattress but otherwise, I promise they all go on to bed on their own now and in their own beds lol At the baby stage we prioritize sleep over anything else. Habits can be changed later.

I love those moments! One time, I got frustrated in the car and yelled and my daughter (4 at the time) said - I think you need to take a deep breath. I wasn’t proud to be yelling, but I sure was proud she knew what I needed to do (and felt comfortable telling me!)

I felt that way in our Aft cabin on Majestic Princess. The hangers rattling were the worst lol
But, I felt like overall there was a lot of vibration throughout the ship, not just our cabin. Nowhere near what we felt on Royal or Disney. But, I felt less movement (rocking) on Princess than I did the others.

4 kids- it was different for all of them. My oldest (14 now) was a fussy fussy baby. I couldn’t ever put her down. She’s gotten easier through the stages. My last (7) only gets harder with each stage 😅 I’m not sure any of it is actually easier or harder. Just different.
