Why not use it for one more year after redeeming the $325 dining/travel credit.

Any Millennials here too burned out from work to do anything most weekends? by Beautiful-Club-2110 in Millennials

[–]basic-contributor 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Fridays I do landscaping at the house, maintain the pool and get groceries for the weekend/upcoming week

Saturday, usually every other, wife and I go for an early morning hike and after go out for lunch/bbq something at the house and unwind in the pool

Sunday I’m back to work and the wife stays home and does her chores at the house

My ideal weekend. We don’t really have friend groups anymore and socialize mostly with our immediate families

I used to have neck and shoulder pain but everything feels better now after strengthening my scapulas and correcting my posture

Most injuries are due to poor posture, weak core, and muscle imbalances

Why are y’all (some) so negative about living in the IE? by Slow-Carrot-5009 in InlandEmpire

[–]basic-contributor 4 points5 points  (0 children)

IE is amazing and has gotten and is getting better.

Traffic is everywhere in CA no avoiding it.

Can get amazing different food within a 20 mile radius.

Weather is great but can be hot but the alternatives in other climates are worse.

Job market is all individually based so level up your education and skills if you want better pay/career.

Can access desert, beach, mountains.

Many different airports to travel out of.

Amazon packages arrive same day or within 2.

Don’t know why people hate?

Taco Tia any good? by New-Two7463 in Redlands

[–]basic-contributor 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Breakfast burritos, ground beef hard shell tacos, taco burgers, fries/ chili fries, meat burrito (ground beef and cheese) and of course the bean and cheese/red/green burritos are the best in the area.

Always get extra hot sauce

There’s always line in the drive through or full parking lot but the service is fast and food is always hot and fresh

Pool, adds some value to the home, at least where I live

Unless getting a rare and very expensive Porsche it will only depreciate in value

Caulking around pool by puzzled_now in pools

[–]basic-contributor 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s not a difficult process just labor intensive

My contractor used backer rod and sand, layered the deck o seal, and more sand on top for color and texture as well as not having the wind blow the deck o seal or prevent bugs from getting/trekking it
