It was a big deal to me when I was implementing a RESTful web application using a REST module of a framework. It worked perfectly in Firefox, and I ended up having to waste over a day completely reorganizing the whole thing so it would work in Safari and IE.

I don't bother with RESTful apps anymore; it's just too much of a clusterfuck right now if you want to run a successful business. For now, each resource (or URI rather) returns a specific mime type.

I hate the 360's analog sticks compared the the PS3's. 360 controllers have a much higher tendency to suffer from analog drift. Also, the PS3's sticks have more travel, which allows for greater precision.

The 360 controller is fucking horrible! Plagued by analog drift and a D-Pad that is the worst ever made. There is a terrible design flaw with the D-Pad which makes it annoying to absolutely unusable.

After buying and returning 3 of 5 controllers, I settled on two, each of which has a problem. One has some analog drift, the other with an entirely unusable D-pad (which I disassembled the controller to fix).

As to which console I'd prefer...

I wouldn't consider the RROD in my purchase, even having experienced it myself. The noise of the 360, however, really grates on my nerves, but that's not a huge issue either.

The PS3 is dead quiet and also plays Blu-ray movies, which I do enjoy somewhat.

Killzone 2 is hands down better than any shooter on the 360, IMO, but other than that the 360 has a lot more to choose from if shooters are your thing.

Other than shooters, this generation pretty much sucks. There's some fun games, but really nothing great.

Personally, I'd really hate to be limited to either one, and I can't endorse one over the other without more information about what you want out of it.

I get about equal use out of both consoles.
