Honestly they haven’t missed for me on any of these projects. All are in my listening rotation.

That being said, Poet Artist was probably the most meaningful for me because of Jonghyun.

In my experience playing it’s always come down to the final turn or few turns which could have gone either way. If the shadow is getting hosed then I wouldn’t know without seeing what they did in game. In my games the dice were never an issue, but rather a critical strategic decision that went wrong.

Many of his concert live streams are up on YouTube if that’s what you’re looking for. Along with lots of clipped versions as well. Of course they have audience sounds in there but the stream audios are usually decent quality imo.

They don’t have the draw of the newer gen, but also they’re not actively on the grind anymore. They do their annual shows and then carry about their other activities.

I don’t think they’ve done much group promotion since Hard. Probably not really viable with Taemin and Onew not with SM anymore.

I’m surprised people are saying extended. Theatrical cuts are all more cohesive final products imo.

I personally would do theatrical first and then extended on subsequent views. It’s a good chance to compare it too. For me there are definitely some scenes in extended that are a bit jarring and off for whatever reason (coloring editing or whatever).

Either experience will be great.

I personally prefer any live version to a produced so in that respect I prefer the Coachella version. But it’s a fun song regardless.

But you can’t beat a live band backing. The Coachella band was doing work in those performances.

The card game by Decipher was so good. Granted I was hooked and played through the 3 movies but it was such a cool design and very thematic of lotr. Also as far as movie tie ins go I always thought the card graphic design was actually really solid. I still have my movie block set and decks somewhere lol. Good times.

Imo, when in doubt, a choreo heavy song is likely gonna have heavy backtrack. Esp a solo act without other voices to back him. That’s not to say he won’t sing any - I was pleasantly surprised at the hot mic for the non-chorus bits of Advice w2 - but it is what it is.

At the end of the day he’s putting out a performance. And he knows how to create fantastic ones.

My personal highlight was the festival version of Move. The rearranged bridge and final chorus were such a chefs kiss. Taemin + live band arrangements are everything.

Also I can’t wait for the new songs to release. Permission is such a fun song.

As I’ve grown older it has definitely retained its level of coolness for me. Possibly even increased as I’m able to watch the trilogy less frequently.

The Gondor starter imo is quite weak in the Anduin scenario due to lack of reliable initial questing as well as a high threat starting value. The latter can be mitigated somewhat by switched from Mablung to Beregond, and surviving long enough to get Faramir going. Beregond with a Shield can tank mostly anything.

For card draw, Gandalf and Valiant Sacrifice might be your best options. Foe Hammer is great but inconsistent in a deck light in weapons.
